From I-5 northbound
Take exit 173 for Northgate Way. Turn left off the exit, onto 1st Ave NE.
Move into the second lane from the left. Turn left (west) on Northgate Way.
At the second stoplight, for Meridian Ave. North, turn right (north) onto Meridian.
Go to the first stop sign. Turn left on N 115th St. Then turn right into the hospital.
From I-5 southbound
Take exit 173 for Northgate Way. Take the Northgate way westbound ramp
Turn right (west) on Northgate Way. At Meridian Ave. North, turn right (north) onto Meridian.
Go to the first stop sign. Turn left on N 115th St. Then turn right into the hospital.

Parking and finding your classroom
Parking is free on weekends, $7.00 on weekday evenings. There may be on-street parking available for free near the entrance, but be aware that it may be a long walk to class (Visitors have 30 minutes at no charge to enter the campus and drop someone off).
Look at the campus map, and you’ll see a dark line showing the path to follow. Go in toward the main hospital building, 
then curve to the left. Go to the parking lot in the northwest corner of campus by “E Wing.”
Enter the building by the Geropsychiatric (Geropsych.) entrance.
Classroom Locations
There are several rooms where classes are held. All of them are in the East-Wing (E-Wing). There are a couple ways to get there:
- Geropsych. units (North of Parking Garage)
- An inside hallway from the ground floor of the main building near the cafeteria.
The main classrooms are the E-Wing Auditorium (EWA) and the Diabetes Services Center/Education Classroom (DSC) (DSC is next to E-729); Corner Classroom (most Babysafe classes) is located across the hall from the MSE Outpatient Registration Desk. Geropsych dining room (most Conscious Fathering classes) is located immediately next to the E-wing Auditorium. Signs to each class are usually posted in the hall to help direct you to the correct room.
From the Geropsych. entrance, turn left and walk to the end of the hallway, turn a short right, then left. The diabetes services classroom is on the left next to room 729. For EWA or Geropsych dining room, walk till you come to an intersection in the hallway. Turn left in front of the Nurses’ Station, walk to the end of the hallway to find E-wing Auditorium. Corner Classroom (most Babysafe classes) is located across the hall from the MSE Outpatient Registration Desk.
Food Services
Checkers Café (the main cafeteria) is open from 630am to 8pm every day. You will find vending machines at the end of long hallway that leads to the cafeteria. There is also Starbucks coffee shop located off the main hospital lobby. Food is welcome in the classrooms. Please help clean up what you bring.
